D-Day Minus One

Welcome to our next big Adventure, destination...JAPAN. The excitement has been building between us for some time now as we have counted down the days. 

Our journey will start in Canberra tomorrow afternoon taking us to Tokyo via Sydney on Flights:

• VA667 (Virgin Australia) - Alenia ATR72-600 (VH-VPJ).

• NH880 (All Nippon Airways) - Boeing B787-9.

We will be arriving early in the morning and will board a Bullet train, heading south to the city of Osaka, where we will spend our first few days.

During the first week we will be travelling around the island of Honshu, staying at Osaka, Hiroshima and Kyoto, and stopping at numerous places in-between. We then head back to Tokyo staying for around a week, before heading back home, arriving on the 11th December.

Our bags are still being packed and our travellers, Maureen, Sky, Kyle, Jen and I (Josh and Maddie are staying home) are getting a little excited. It's the first time in Japan for all of us.
